Shot taken recently as I was driving through Sherbrooke on the way to the Alfred Nicholas Memorial Gardens.

I was actually on my way to the gardens (which were about 1km down the road) when I passed through here this section of road where someone was burning off. The smoke from the fire coupled with the bright sun produced these beautiful light rays. I therefore immediately made a U-turn, parked my car, took out my camera and took a few shots.

Whilst I have seen many similar (and better) photos like this on Deviantart I have never actually seen light rays this strong in real life, so it was an altogether new experience for me.
