The Horizon Line by TaGiRoCkS The Horizon Line by TaGiRoCkS
This photo is a perfect example of when a graduated ND filter would've come in useful.
Unfortunately at the time I didn't have one and as such, since the camera is focussed on the plants in the foreground, it left the sky completely blown out and over-exposed.
Tried to fix it a bit using Adobe Lightroom's own graduated ND filter, but you can only do so much on the computer

Taken down at Wilson's Promontory

Whats a ND filter? Is that how you got this effect?

nd filter is a neutral density filter. the graduated ones allow you to make about half of the shot darker than the rest of it, so in this case a grad ND filter would've allowed me to correctly expose the top of the photo, instead of having the sun over exposed.

I don't think it matters much that you didn't have a filter beacause it's just stunning, and the colour coming off of the plants just makes it even more better.
